Our Story
Hi, my name is Andi Jompole.

My journey with art began as a toddler attending classes at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. For over 30 years, I have worked as a designer in the fashion, home furnishings, and gift industries, focusing on creativity and visual storytelling. Now, inspired by the loving memory of my adored little Moxie, I am returning to my fine arts roots with Reimagined Paw Prints.
Moxie entered my life in an unexpected way. At just seven months old, he was found abandoned on a freezing January day on my street in Manhattan, tied to a restaurant door with a small bag of his belongings. After a lot of back and forth - and even having to fight my building to keep him - Moxie was officially mine. I wasn’t looking for a dog, but it quickly became clear that we were “Beshert” - his legal middle name - meant to be, destined. His presence filled my life with joy and purpose, and our bond became unbreakable for 17 years, 3 months, and a day.

After losing both Precious (feline sister) and Moxie, I found myself missing their companionship deeply. In my grief, I first worked part time with a company, then started my own overnight pet-sitting service as a way to stay connected with animals while continuing to work on various design projects. This experience continues to be instrumental in my healing and passion for animals, recently leading to the birth of Reimagined Paw Prints. Inspired by Moxie’s memory, I am now creating fine art from pet photography, blending my background in design with my love for animals.
Thank you for your interest in my work. I hope these pieces bring as much joy to you as they bring to me in creating them. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to support rescues, helping animals in need - a cause close to my heart.
I hope my art resonates with those who share a deep connection with animals, love their pets, or hold close the memories of ones they’ve said goodbye to.
Warmly,
Andi
